Breaking the Cycle of
Youth Violence
At CYAV, we believe there is hope for our community and our youth. We have a clear, actionable plan to tackle the rising rates of juvenile crime and the senseless loss of innocent lives. Our approach focuses on transforming the mindset of young men and women from all walks of life, empowering them to rethink impulsive, aggressive behavior and understand the long-term consequences of their actions.
For too long, our community has witnessed the devastating impact of youth violence. Families are torn apart, and the future of our young people is jeopardized. We’ve seen enough. It’s time for real change. CYAV is stepping up with a vision to address this crisis head-on by building a better future for our youth.
OUR FEATURED PROJECT
operation teen curfew
The purpose of the Teen Curfew Ordinance is to decrease juvenile crime, and advocate to end gun violence in our communities. Our mission is to create an effort to develop a relationship and accountability among parents and children.
Teen Curfew is an ordinance that prohibits individuals under the age of 17 to be out in the streets unsupervised by their parent or guardian after 11:00p.m.-6:00a.m. on weekdays and 12:00a.m.- 6:00a.m. on weekends.

Student Council Club
The CYAV Student Council Club is a program that will be established in some Miami-Dade County schools and private schools throughout the county. We will encourage students to serve as community volunteers and increase awareness of the community and the value of appreciating life.

Getting to Know Each Other at the Dinner Table
Getting to Know Each Other at the Dinner Table is designed to provide a catalyst for family bonding and strengthening, and to assist in improving the communication, solving family problems, understanding, and handling special family situations, and creating a better functioning home environment.
Graveyard
Therapy Program
Graveyard Therapy Program is designed for youth who are first-time offenders or ungovernable. This therapeutic method is designed to develop a mindset and to be a reality check for the consequences of violence and lack of self-control when presented with conflicts.
